Artemis – Prothyraia
Do you understand “Greek Mythology”? It so confuses me, so correct me if I am wrong, what I am getting from the reading of this quote is that “Prothyraia” is the midwife birthing the babies,,,,

As people lived closely with earth’s cycles, they also became part of, and dependent upon, the same earth rhythms – birth, life, death, and rebirth.
Earth, or Female, may have taken on meaning as a deity and been considered the Great Mother of creation, or Mother Earth, the sustainer of life. YES! We are women hear us ROAR!!!!!!!!!!
